Well, I made it to Germany alright. It wasn't the best flight I ever had but it wasn't too bad. I was originally in a middle seat and I managed to get that changed to an isle seat. Unfortunately, the new seat was a bulkhead seat with the movie screen right in front of me. On top of that, the lady behind me kept her light on the whole time even though she was sleeping. Every time I reclined my seat, that light was right in my eyes! So between the time being early on eastern time, the movie being right in front of my face and the light being in my eyes I only managed to sleep about a half hour. On the trip from Frankfurt to Stuttgart I managed to get about another half hour.
But, I'm here and in one piece. That's the important part!

Wow, it's been over a month since I've posted a new entry. How bad is that?! A lot has happened. Christmas and New Years have come and gone. I've made a couple of trips to NH and now, unfortunately, it's going to be about 6 weeks between my last visit and my next. Luckily, Marianne is going to come down here on the 10th as long as this go as planned.
On Monday, I am leaving for Germany for 10 days. I am going in place of my coworker, Steve Wallace, who was in a serious car accident. Steve started a blog to write about the accident. It can be found at http://swallac2.blogspot.com/
I return from Germany on the 8th.
Marianne flies in on the 10th and will stay until the 12th. During that time we will celebrate Valentines Day. February makes 6 months that we've been together. The only way I could be happier is if we weren't so far away from each other. Thank God for Southwest and their relatively cheap airfare!
On the 15th I fly to Florida to go to the Daytona 500 with Dad, Marsha and Ray. I return home on February 20th. I haven't made any definite plans beyond that, but I would guess that I'll be going to NH the following weekend. So that has me gone most of the month of February. Phew! Maybe I'll take a week or two in March to catch my breath!
