As many of you know, I flew to Orlando on Wednesday, February 15th to meet up with my Father, his girlfriend of many years Marsha Foster and our friend Ray to enjoy a NASCAR weekend at Daytona. What was to be a joyous time of visiting with friends and family has turned tragic.
Before leaving Phoenix, Marsha had a bit of a chest cold. During the flight she was joking around and having a good time. A short time after arriving at Tampa, on her way to Kissimmee where we are staying, she began to feel much worse. She had a rough night of being up getting sick. By Thursday morning it was decided that she needed to go to the hospital. The doctors found that she had pneumonia and admitted her. As the day went on, she was in a lot of pain. They continued to try and help her but she was having a hard time getting oxygen and they moved her to ICU. Around 0200 this morning the hospital called my Father and said they were going to need to intibate her. He gave his permission and asked if she was ok. They said she was. Around 0300 he received another call that they didn’t think she was going to make it. We rushed to the hospital but it was too late. She went into cardiac arrest and passed away.
Rest In Peace Marsha. We Love you and will miss you!!
