On Friday, April 21st, I flew to NH. On Monday, April 24th, I flew back with Marianne and Lauren. We had a great vacation! The weather was fantastic. We spent quite a bit of time going out and feeding the ducks in the pond near my house.
On Tuesday, we went to the National Aquarium in Baltimore during the morning and afternoon. In the evening, we went to Bob and Lisa Bishops' house for a cookout. It was a really good time!
On Wednesday, we headed to State College, PA to meet up with Marianne's parents and her sister Amy so we could go and surprise their brother Greg for his 40th birthday. He was Very Surprised to see all of us show up!! We stayed the night and then went to Penn's Cave for a tour of the cave. It was pretty cool! Then we spent the rest of Thursday driving back to MD.
On Friday, we went to the National Zoo. We had a good time wandering around looking at the animals and checking out the new baby Panda bear. After that, we met up with John, Sue and Michael and headed to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. Marianne and Lauren had never been and they Loved it!
Today, Marianne and Lauren will be packing up and heading back to NH. That will be the only bad part of the whole vacation...saying good-bye.
