This story really troubles me. A man went to the hospital after getting hit in the head by a falling wooden beam. He received eight stitches over his eyebrow. Then the doctors proceeded, AGAINST HIS WILL, to perform a rectal exam. Apparently, this is one way to tell if any spinal damage was done. However, he said no... he begged "Please don't do that" and they went ahead anyway. He hit a doctor so they handcuffed him, sedated him and did what they wanted. Now, I'm sorry but as far as I am concerned, this man was raped. He was violated against his will.
I must be missing something. I have no idea how a jury could say that the hospital did nothing wrong. Is there something that isn't being reported in the news or do they just think it's ok because it was a doctor???? I REALLY hope there is more to it that I'm just missing. What ever the case, this is just plain wrong!!
